This served as peanutbutter♥‘s going away party last year. Located in Pandi, Bulacan, Amana Waterpark is around an hour and a half drive from where we live (Caloocan City). The entrance fee is P250 for adults and P200 for children below 4ft. Since Ykaie was 2 years old at that time, she got in for free.
The resort has a 3,500 sq. m wave pool where you get to experience 13 waves. They only turn it on during weekdays, though, or if they have a booking of 50 persons or more.We went on a monday so as expected there were no waves.
There are many cottages available that caters to different number of people and the different needs. Prices range from P600 – P2,800 depending on the size and if there are added amenities like air conditioner etc.
We got the Executive Cottage for P2,500.That rate is exclusive of the entrance fee. We were allowed to stay there from 8:30am – 6:00pm. It has an airconditioned room and a TV upstairs. Renting a cottage with a room is advisable if you’re bringing children along with you so they’ll have someplace to rest after they get tired of swimming.
We rented the grill for P100 and grilled some pork belly, hotdog and fish for lunch.
There are different life-size characters around the resort. Not in the picture are Michael Jordan, The Terminator, Freddie Krueger, Mickey Mouse, Batman, Spiderman, and The Justice League Characters. I think they put up more this year.
Wondering why there are no pictures of ykaie with Shrek and all the other characters? Well, she was scared with every single one of them.
One thing that ykaie could never forget about Amana is her fun time with daddy at the kiddie pool.
The kiddie pool has life-size Dragonball character around it and measures 500 sqm.Pretty big huh?
Oh I miss these moments
I’m trying to teach ykaie how to swim…
We will go back here sometime this month and I will absolutely keep you updated on the changes!
