Our 5th anniversary last May was celebrated at The Lake Hotel in Tagaytay. I found a deal with a 51% two weeks before and grabbed it. It was sizzling hot in Manila and the cold weather in Tagaytay was a welcome escape.

It was easy to find because it’s nestled in the food strip of the city.

The deal was for a Deluxe room which normally costs ₱8,000 but which we got for P4,300 plus a massage. It was both warm and welcoming. It could also be fit for honeymooners. Can you see the  shower and bath tub behind Ykaie?

The veranda also opens to an amazing view of Taal Volcano and the lake.

I reserved two rooms because we took my MIl and FIL with us so they can have a relaxing day as well.

The bathroom has a bath tub and near the bath tub is the blinds, should you prefer to bathe in private..LOL!

The toiletries… I love the color of that shower gel….

Complimentary breakfast the next day was at the hotel restaurant in the lobby….. The have pancake, french toast, salads, bacon, pork and chicken adobo, daing na bangus, sausages, galic rice and a delicious mushroom soup!

There’s a tricycle and bike for the kids which they can ride all day atthe grassy spot beside the pool and the restaurant….
