House Reconstruction On Going

House Reconstruction

Like what I’ve shared with you over a slice of Key Lime Pie at The Peach Kitchen the other day, the reconstruction of our soon-to-be home has started last monday.

At last, after more than a year of waiting, what used to be our internet shop is gonna be reconstructed into our home! peanutbutter and I have been working at it for over a year now… and it’s finally happening!

And we are very excited! Yaaaayy!!!

Our small computer shop is the one on the left side of the photo above. We opened it in 2008 and closed it in 2012. We’re having it reconstructed to turn into the photo on the right. There maybe minor modifications in the future but that’s more or less how it’s gonna look like.

House Reconstruction

I took photos of the inside just to remind me in the future of how it “used to” look. Please take note that I closed this in December of 2012. That’s more than a year ago now. The place is really dirty, dusty, and musty. That green table used to be my counter.

The left photo is taken while I’m inside the building and the one on the right is taken while I am by that door. If you go up that spiral stairs….

You’ll end up here on the second floor. Ooops, this reminds me to take down that a/c on the 2nd floor. It’s still working.

This photo is taken while I’m under that a/c.  If you go in that door…

You’ll end up in this room — our soon-to-be master’s bedroom…

Can you see how dusty it is??

This is the backyard but my soon-to-be kitchen will be built here. According to our contractor, the house will be finished in five months, more or less.

Ykaie and I are really excited and I’m sure peanutbutter is too.

  2. I can’t wait to see your new house (kahit sa pictures lang! lol!). I’m sure it will be beautiful, and I’m sure the kitchen will always be busy because you’ll be whipping up wonderful dishes for your lovely family.
