Villa Melissa in Pansol, Laguna

This Summer was a bit different from the last seven Summers. There weren’t many family outings and swimmings and that because I was pregnant and traveling was kept to a minimum. To celebrate my cousin Rome’s birthday though, he treated us for a swimming at the nearest place we can go to — Pansol, Laguna.

That’s also where we went when Tita Becky wanted to treat her grandkids, remember Emerald Villa? Villa Melisssa is actually in the same vicinity as Emerald Villa.

The Swimming Pools

There are two swimming pools at Villa Melissa. One adult pool and one kiddie pool. The kiddie pool is the one below.

The rent at this place is ₱7,000 and the resort i all yours from 8am to 5pm.

The Rooms

There are four big rooms that are available for use located on the second floor. Each one is well air-conditioned and has one bathroom/toilet. One of the rooms has a double bed.

While the other three has three bunk beds. I think this would be great during company outings and team buildings.

Our Food

We brought cooked food and those that are for grilling at this family outing. We had crabs, embotido, longanisa, adobong tahong, pork and chicken adobo…

Then we grilled some pork belly, chicken, and tilapia…

Happy Birthday Rome!

Dessert was Fresh ripe mangoes, Blueberry cheesecake, and peachy-peachy with cheese.

Here we are getting ready for lunch.

Then a nice siesta afterwards. Oh, and this resort came with a videoke too! You can sing your heart out while everybody’s swimming. Which I never did, of course because I’m always out of tune but there was one time that peanutbutter was hogging the videoke.

Swimming Time!

Here we are at the kiddie pool. The reason I was soaking wet in the first photo is because of this…LOL! I wasn’t planning on going swimming that’s why I didn’t bring any swimsuit or rash guard. Besides, nothing would fit me, I am sooo big!

I was supposed to sneak out while they were swimming to buy mesa boogie 6l6 tubese for of the musical intruments at home but the water was very enticing  because I am seeing how happy they are.. and so I joined in even when I was wearing maternity blouse and leggings….

Cousins Shy, Gab, Chellie, and Ykaie

Ykaie had fun with both the kiddie and the adult slides…

Ykaie and daddy

Jumshot with nongnang!

Here’s an underwater shot with daddy! Too bad I wasn’t bale to go swimming…. but that’s okay.

Next time we go swimming we’ll have our little one with us and we are all excited!!!
