Dinner at Pino Restobar

Dinner at Pino Restobar

We’ve been frequenting Maginhawa St. in Quezon City the past week. We’ve had two dinners, one with sis at Griddle and the other one with my ILs (peanutbutter‘s parents and aunt) at Gerry’s Jeepney (this I’m gonna tell you all about at www.thepeachkitchen.com).

Last Saturday, we decided to make a turn and have dinner at Pino Restobar in Malingap St.

Pino Restobar is a restaurant that serves delicious Filipino food, beside it is Pipino, a vegetarian restaurant. You can order from both menus when you dine in. The first on my hand was Pipino’s menu and thought about ordering a vegetarian fare thinking about trying to be healthy for a change. But I changed my mind when I saw Pino’s menu and ordered a Tuna Shiitake Pasta instead — still healthy but not vegetarian.

I don’t think I could be a vegetarian — I love my meat too much!

Our other orders were Nori Cheese Sticks for appetizer, which they served drizzled with pesto and a sweet red sauce which seemed like strawberry sauce. Ykaie had Chicharong Bulaklak and rice, peanutbutter had Bagnet Ribs Lechon Paksiw, and sis had Seafood Aligue Pasta .

Our dinner ended with a slice of the Tablea Cheesecake which we all shared.

It was such a lovely night! Dinner with my favorite people! Twinkle was such an angel too and slept throughout the night eventhough it was quite noisy at the restaurant.

I was suggesting we do a Maginhawa St. Project…. they didn’t think we could do it. It’s either we end up broke or wih extra 50 pounds by the end of the month.

  1. I always pass by Malingap St. when I bring the twins to school, but I never had a chance to dine there. After this post, I must try their food.

  2. I see many posts about the eateries found in Maginhawa St. and have yet to visit it. I always find myself dining somewhere else when we live nearby. I must keep this in mind the next vacay back home. I want to try out the restaurants and other food outlets you feature here.

  3. I’m literally craving for all the Filipino foods you mentioned. I feel like going out tonight and look for a decent restaurant to serve those. But, probably I’ll just head to my kitchen and see what I can cook for my small family.
