Camp Netanya in Anilao, Batangas (Part 1)

Camp Netanya in Anilao, Batangas

Summer 2017 has began..woohoo!!!

Last year’s Summer escapade was in Ilocos for six days. This year, we have a schedule for three and it started in Anilao, Batangas the last week of March. Our first stop was, of course, Camp Netanya, which they say is the Little Santorini of Batangas because of its greek theme.

This trip was a bit difficult for me because three days before this trip, I’ve had consecutive high blood episodes which I experienced for the first time. I had a blood chem test the morning of our trip and my brother just texted me the results and what I had to do. All the first adjustments on my diet and some meds took place while I was on this trip… nakakaloka lang, diba?

We left Manila at around 6:30am. We had stopovers for breakfast and lunch and arrived at Camp Netanya at around 12 noon. It was too early when we arrived because check-in time was 2pm. It was pretty hot to stay in the lobby because there was no ventilation. Super init talaga! I wished they had a ceiling fan man lang to keep guests cool. We decided to just roam around and take photos.

The Play Room

It was too hot outside too. Good thing we found the play room and we stayed there until check in time.

The play room was an open space with lots of toys, a tee pee, and a tent. It was air-conditioned too so it was just the perfect spot for us.

Twinkle loved playing inside the tent because of the colorful little balls. She didn’t wanna go out come check-in time.

Ykaie loved the tee pee and asked if we can have one at home…

Our Room: Family Loft

Since there are four adults: peanutbutter, my sister who call herself Anney, my helper Lani and I; And there are four kids: Ykaie, Cyra, Babin, and Twinkle, we got the Family Loft. The rate was ₱17, 294.

It had three queen beds, one at the loft and two on the ground.

A view from the loft, Twinkle and daddy on a duel…. LOL!

The bedroom below opens up into a nice veranda with a view of the sea. It was so peaceful out there.

The bathroom

It is complete in amenities and toiletries.

Our room comes with a free wifi, cable tv, coffee and tea making facility,  and inroom safe… and this was the view from our room…. sigh…

Stay tuned for part two, guys!

Camp Netanya is located at Brgy. Ligaya, Mabini Road, Anilao, Batangas.

  2. I hope that your blood pressure didn’t ruin the trip for you. I know I’ve had trips ruined because of medical problems.. 🙁 This trip looks like it was fun! I love the resort, it’s so gorgeous!

  3. Looks like you all had an incredible time. I love all of the photos. They are so amazing. Sorry that you had to deal with dietary restrictions on the trip. That wouldn’t be very fun at all.

  4. Omg, What a beautiful place to visit with my family! I really love the room and I bet my kids would love the playroom.

  5. Wow! Did not know there is such place in the Philippines. My dream travel destination is Greece and this is a cheaper way to sort of experience the beauty of Greece.

  6. Nice blog. I just booked a room for 2 pax this weekend to Camp Netanya! Yay! However, a good friend wants to come with us. Is Camp Netanya strict about guests? Can a friend enter with us without paying anything (or snicky moves on entering the resort after us)? Thanks
