It’s the first day of school today and my nephew kakay was really excited. He’s now studying at my Alma Mater which I really really love. I’m also planning in sending my little girl there in the near future. The only problem is that, it’s really getting quite expensive to send your child to a good school. If only there are easy scholarships, then good schools won’t be a problem at all.
Good schools need not be expensive anyway. You have to consider the school standards, the curriculum and of course the environment and the culture. I want a Catholic school for my Ykaie but it’s still too early for me to think about. She’s still not going to school this year and I am just trying to familiarize her in the Alphabet, Nursery Rhymes, Numbers, Words, Shapes and colors. Which isn’t really too hard at her age. She is like a sponge and is absorbing it all.
Anyways, next year is when I’m planning to enroll her in nursery. Here at a nearby school called the Red Apple. I want her to get used to a “school environment” and learn together with a few kids her age. I’m excited. Her nanay[sis], is too and is planning to make different kinds of bento for her to take to school.
