Did you guys know that I tried growing an herb garden once? I love fresh herbs! I use it to flavor a lot of the dishes that I cook and I also use it as a table decoration. But buying fresh herbs at the grocery often gets kinda expensive. So what I did was I bought some baby herbs at this plant store where my mom buys her flowers and plants. I bought Rosemary, Dill, Mint and Sweet Basil. I watered them daily and gave them morning sunlight but I think they didn’t like me very much because after a week, those beautiful herbs that are supposed to decorate the dinner table died.
I am so envious of people who have green thumb. They can make flowers bloom and they can keep plants healthy. If there’s such a thing as black thumbs, I think I have them. This is also the reason why artificial flower graces our dinner table. Well, if you have high quality artificial flowers, you can’t really tell its difference from the real one unless you touch it. I also realized that it will save me a lot of money in the long run because it will last forever. I won’t have to buy over and over again.
Same goes for artificial plant. They make great indoor decorations and they make the house welcoming. The bonus is that you don’t need to maintain them and they don’t die….and ykaie won’t play with them.
