Hongkong City Tour: Jewelry Factory

After the Avenue of Stars, the tour guide also took us to the Jewelry factory and a store that sells local products. These are not tourist spots but is included in the compulsory city tour. I know that they have some kind of a commission if a tourist purchases something from the stores.

We don’t have any plans of purchasing anything and if we could have avoided joining the city tour we would. We just went around the store and checked out some nice pieces of jewelry.

I think we were an hour long in that store, so we just snuck into a corner and took photos..heehee

Next stop was the store which sells some local stuffs like food, toys and souvenirs. Items are pretty expensive here. Ykaie ate a lot of the chips for free tasting,LOL!

To avoid time wasters like these–we’ve decided..next tour would be a DIY Tour..

  1. Yup, total waste of time. DIY tour is the best. But for first-timers, ok na rin yun para di mapagod lalo na kasama si Mommy and Ykaie.

  2. Be sure to bring a map! And good ol’ pair of shoes – taga ang taxi diba? Kami ay DIY tour din and nag-enjoy talaga kami. Puro lakad ginawa namin para tipid hahaha.
