Ankles are very sensitive. They can easily be injured while playing sports, stepping in a hole or even when you’re just playing and running around with your child. You know, I almost twisted my ankle during our recent trip to Bohol. Because it was so gorgeous out there, I immediately ran into the water when we arrived at the resort. I didn’t know that it was very rocky on the shallow end.
I would have left Bohol in one of those ankle braces had I not stopped running.
Anyway, I’ve always kept an ankle brace in our luggage during out of town trips aside from the usual medicines like paracetamols and anti-diarrheas because you just never know when you would need it. It’s not just for recovering sprains and injury, you can also wear it to prevent them.
As for me, I’m saving the ankle braces for accidents and injuries…I’m on the look out for a nice gold anklet for mine.
