Museo Pambata

Museums are one of the best places to take your kids to stimulate learning. The thing is, with adult museums, the exhibits are often off limits to the touch and is of less interest to children.

Museo Pambata is a hands-on museum that encourages  children to explore, understand and learn by letting them touch, smell and experience different things in an interactive and fun environment.

The entrance fee is P100 per person.

There are eight theme rooms that children can explore and experience…

The Kalikasan/Environment room is all about mother nature.

The Old Manila room takes you to what Manila looks like when grandma and granpa were children. It showcases the clothes, the household furnitures and even the old typewriters and cameras.

The Global Village room showcases the costumes, toys and musical instruments of children around the world.

The Marketplace room is like a mini-village, there’s a barber shop, drug-store, newspaper store, wet market and even a mini-bahay kubo {nipa-hut} where children can play pretend.

The Environmental room is about being green and loving the planet.

The Body Works room has a lifesize tunnel where you can take a journey inside the human body. Ykaie is scared to have hr photo taken inside the big mouth.

The Career Options room showcases children’s books which helps in visualizing what the children want when they grow up.

The last room is the Karapatan Hall which is dedictaed to the rights of the children.
