My Collections

I used to collect a lot of things. When I was in high school, I collect binders. I don’t buy them. I make binders and put things that I like in them. Each binder has a theme and I make them like you do scrapbooks. Yup, they’re 3D..LOL! I had a metallic themed binder which has a key, a screw, a paperclip and other small metallic objects glued on the front. I also had a food themed binder which has a ketchup packet and a chocolate bar wrapper. Yeah, that’s a little geek-y..I know.

When I started working as a barista, a foreign soccer player gave me a lapel pin of their team. I found it so cute, I wore it on my apron so he would see it when he comes over to the store… No, I wasn’t flirting with him..he was a friend, LOL. That started my desire to collect different kinds of lapel pins. I would buy lapel pins with different cartoon characters in them.

Now, I collect dinnerwares and cute flatwares… You know, glasses, plates, forks and spoons. I also collect pictures of food which I showcase over at my food blog. I now have a cabinet full of cute plates….and I want more.
