Sewing is one of the things which I’m never fond of doing. I only sew when my life depended on it — or back in high school– when my grades depended on it. Sometimes, I even ask my older sister to do it for me and I do a chore for her in return. Anything that would bail me out of that sewing project.
Women does all the sewing in the household, I know. That is why I’m making a promise to myself to sew a couple of shorts and my daughter’s uniform which needs their buttons andone more which needs a garter. They’ve been sitting in the cabinet for the longest time and up until now, I haven’t done anything to restore them.
I guess it’s not too late nor early to start a resolution: I now promise to sew all those pieces of our clothing that needs sewing.
