The 17th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was held last February 9-12, 2012 in Clark, Freeport Zone, Pampanga.Tickets cost is P200 per person. We bought seven and decided to go on the second day. On the afternoon of Feb 9, we went to Clark and stayed at Euro Tour Hotel International. We thought it best that we should already be in Angeles the day before because the event starts at 5:30am the next day.
Our hotel was a good 15 minutes away form the venue and we were there around 5am.

We went around and took photos before finally deciding to camp out on a spot in front.
My girl scout of a sister brought a blanket, so the kids were able to sit on the grass while waiting for the balloons…
The participants started to inflate the balloons at around 6:00 am.
The kids are in awe as the balloons continue to fill with air. They saw what looked like a giant birthday cake, a car and a flower…
Then after a few minutes the balloons started flying one by one…
This gigantic birthday cake balloon is one of the best-looking balloons that flew….
Car shaped balloon….
a couple more food-shaped balloons…..
The flower and panda balloons are very pretty but they weren’t able to fly….
At around 7:00am, almost all the balloon are in the air.
The heat of the morning sun felt good on our skin, we decided to stay on that same spot for a few more minutes….
We ate some pizza and snow cones for breakfast before going around the event area…
Sis, Rome and the kids rented some props for picture-taking…..
I think this will become a yearly event for us…
