I’m a little sad because I think I’ve been slipping up.
At the start of the year, I was able to lessen my intake of coffee to one cup per day. I’ve been drinking fruit infusion teas at night, specifically Mint Tea and Ginger and Lemon Tea, as a substitute. Last month, I’ve had around five days of slip ups. On those days, I drank two cups of coffee in one day.
Last week, I had a bit of a hectic schedule and I felt tired and sleepy most of the time, so I drank around 2-3 cups for four consecutive days.
Now I’m feeling the effect of these magical cups. It kept me energetic and more alive the day I drink three cups of it but the very next day, I just feel more tired and sleepy….needing more. I guess this is how I got to drinking up to 5 cups of coffee per day before.
It’s scary when you put it into words but that’s how I really feel and I don’t think I like that feeling. Don’t get me wrong, I still love coffee but I don’t want to go back to my five-cup-a-day self because it’s not healthy.
I promise to be back on track today

Hope you can stick with the one cup 🙂 It takes 21 days to establish a habit. So try as many strategies as you can to maintain one cup of coffee a day for 21 days, then that would mean a new habit 🙂 Thanks for the visit.
