Just finished watching Season 1..now why hadn’t I thought of watching this series when it has first started? Not that it’s better than watching all 13 episodes in 2 days.
The series stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, a driven CIA officer and Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine, who returns home eight years after going missing in Iraq. Mathison has come to believe that Brody, who was held captive by Al-Qaeda as a prisoner of war, was turned by the enemy and now threatens the United States.
It’s a very interesting watch because it tickles the mind to know how a prisoner is turned into an ally and how a terrorist’s mind works. There’ a lot of spying and there are more twists than you could think of.~ totally unpredictable. I had to hold my breath on that scene when Nicholas Brody is about to arm the bomb he was carrying in his body. I imagined if everyone would die in that small room, they would be needing moving pallets instead of stretchers.
Plus I love Claire Danes in this series…I’m very excited for Season 2.
