I’ve read somewhere that the phosporic acid present in coffee depletes bone density and calcium. I am a coffee drinker. My first line of thinking was it’s okay because I drink milk, eat yogurt and love cheese which all contain high amounts of calcium.
But when I got to thinking about it later, I thought I don’t really take in as much calcium as I should daily. There are many calcium supplements in the market today. Some in the form of tablets, others in the form of milk. CalChews is the only calcium supplement in the form of chewy candy. What a treat!
I got this pack of 15 pieces for P179 at the Robinson’s Supermarket. It contains 500mg of Calcium, 400IU of Vitamin D and 40mcg of Vitamin K.
It doesn’t only protect and strengthen your bones and teeth, it also reduces the risk of heart disease.
It’s very convenient to take too because you can bring it and you can chew it anywhere, anytime.
A little caution, though, since it contains Vitamin K, you should consult your doctor if you are pregnant, nursing or taking anticoagulant medicines before taking this product.
I love this caramel chews, but if you don’t like caramel, there’s also a chocolate flavor.
