After breakfast on our last day in Porta Verde…that’s when we decided to take the tour of Lumot Lake. We figured that we would still have time for some last minute swimming and picture-taking before our check out time.
Lumot Lake is also known as Sierra Lake. It is actually a man-made water reservoir in the town of Cavinti and Lumban. According to our tour guide, it acquired the name Lumot Lake {Moss Lake} because there used to be lots of moss in that lake and it made the water turn green. I don’t know if that was true, though.
We went for a little kayaking after the tour….
