I found this two photos being shared by a lot of people on facebook with different captions and LOLs. I find this very mean.
’cause I like Charice and whatever style or whatever her fashion statement is— whether we like it or not — we just have to respect it.
This is so wrong.

How shameful. She doesn’t deserve such treatment.

when you are a celebrity you gotta expect feed backs from the public. That’s why you don’t do stupid things like this.

Why would it be stupid?
The thing is, Filipinos have always been hard on Charice. Remember her Glee appearance? Her magazine cover for Preview? How about the first time she cut her hair? For some reason, people adore nitpicking EVERY single thing she does.
People have the right to dislike this new look. Heck, no one is even obliged to be her fan. And yes, people can have the freedom to express themselves if they want to, but up to what extent?
You know what I find stupid? It’s not even her new look, its how people put up these silly pictures trying to get as many likes and RTs as they could have. See the first pic? The one which compared her to the Bride of Chuckie? If you’ve actually watched it on t.v, she didn’t even looked like that. Looks like someone played w/ the contrast….hmm…You see their intentions?
Yes, she is a celebrity but don’t forget that Charice is human too and so are we. Please, don’t use her being a celeb as an excuses to justify such behavior. As humans, we should still have the capacity to treat others with respect.
