The Solution: Orlistat to Reduce Fat Absorption

Over the weekend, we decided to have “Pork-Only” dishes for our family sunday get-together. Since, I’m trying my best to stay on my diet and lower my cholesterol and triglycerides, I bought a piece of Orlistat.

Orlistat is is a drug designed to treat obesity. Its primary function is preventing the absorption of fats from the human diet, thereby reducing caloric intake and fat intake.

It seems to be effective. The side effect is yucky, though, because you excrete the oils through your normal bowel movement.
