Rather than wear matching swimsuits, we decided on wearing rash guards when we went to the Bellaroca Island in Marinduque.
A rash guard, also known as rash vest or rashie, is a type of water wear made of spandex and nylon or polyester. The name rash guard reflects the fact that the shirt protects the wearer against rashes caused by abrasion. A rash guard by itself is used for light coverage in warm to extreme summer temperatures for several watersports including surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, freediving, wakeboarding, body surfing, body boarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, or simply for stand up paddle surfing or swimming.
We wore it on the beach when we went kayaking and parasailing. We were also wearing aqua shoes to protect our feet from the rocky and coral-y shore. Our aqua shoes were just borrowed from the resort while ykaie wore her own.
After a few hours at the beach, we lounged by the nearby pool and went swimming there as well….
We {sis and I} bought our rash guards from Sassa, I bought peanutbutter♥‘s from Speedo and Ykaie’s is from Tweety at the children’s section at the mall.

Great looking waterwear. I love your 3rd photo with the majestic mountain on the background.
