Driving Under the Influence or DUI means the act of driving a motor vehicle with blood levels of alcohol in excess of a legal limit or in layman’s term, drunk driving.
Drunk driving leads to accidents and some leads to death that is why it is prohibited by law. When you are driving under the influence of alcohol, your mind is not focused and your judgement is clouded. You won’t be able to make a good decision. However there are times when we cannot avoid this…..say, a colleague had a birthday and you were invited to tag along. Even if you weren’t planning on drinking, you enjoyed the party, laughed at the host’s jokes, danced a lot and before you know it you’re drunk.
In the Philippines, I know there is this emergency number that you call to save you from drunk driving. You just give them a call, and for a fee, they will go to your location and drive you home safely.
In Arizona, there is no such emergency number but if you are caught dui arizona, there are a group of lawyers with criminal defense practice that covers the full range of local and state offenses, with an emphasis in the defense of Arizona DUI charges and motor vehicle felonies.
I don’t think I could be caught drunk driving, though, because I rarely drink.
