Grape and Lychee Mojito from Sweet Bella Cafe
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”- John F. Kennedy
It’s been more than a month since I last wrote a gratitude list and I won’t let this month of Thanksgiving to pass me by without writing one. It’s just that I find it a little hard to be happy and positive while I’m going through this transition of loss and longing. As you all know, this small computer shop of ours is closing by the end of the year. I’m actually contemplating if I can make it as a WAHM or if I should look for a job. The other thing that I’m upset and sad about is that my birthday and Christmas is coming and as usual, my family is not complete.
It’s hard to go through the day with these three emotional ordeals lurking inside my heart and my mind. It’s not like I could just hand it in floor stand mounts for a while and then pick it up later when I feel fine.
But I don’t like to dwell on negativity and sadness… so along with the most delicious mojito that I’ve tasted last night at Sweet Bella Cafe {photo above}, I am writing the things I’m thankful for….
Cheers!
♥ It’s 116 days and peanutbutter♥‘s gonna be home.
♥ Like what my friend Rizza said, I should also be thankful that I am free of the shop. What she means is that I don’t have to keep long hours and this will give me time to explore on new avenues. She has a point, really.
♥ I’m thankful for the work/online job/rakets God is giving me.
♥ I’m thankful for newly acquired blogger neighbor and blogger friends.
♥ I’m thankful for all the love and cooking inspirations
♥ I’m thankful for the strength to be positive
