These are the new street sweepers in our community…just kidding. It’s Ykaie {my darling daughter} and Cyra {my niece}. This is one of the chores they’ve been assigned to do one afternoon.
Usually, they are the ones who litters the street with leaves and paper cut-outs but this time it’s the other way around. They have to sweep the dry leaves and food wrappers from it. My aunt {their mamita} assigned them to do the sweeping and they did so willingly — I think this is in exchange of ₱5 each.
I used to do chores too when I was a kid and sometimes, I also get those incentive from my parents. What I do with what I earn from the chores is save it until it can buy something that I want — like dolls, small toys, or something which I can give to my dad or my brother.
Have a great saturday, everyone!

I didn’t know street sweepers can be that lovely! Ang sisipag naman, ano rewards ng little girls?
I wouldn’t mind paying those cute street sweepers Php5.00 every time they perform that task. Not only do they keep the surroundings clean, they also brighten up your day, I’m sure.
So cute! LOL!
Lucky you! They are cute!
