Ykaie went suddenly territorial and took over the bed on the right saying that’s where she would sleep and of course, that is fine with us because the other side is attached to a wall.
After arranging our things at the cabinets, we made sure that daddy gets some sleep and rest after his long flight, Ykaie’s Recognition Day and the drive going to Tagaytay. We left him inside the room so he can sleep and we went in the whirlpool for a dip.
It was a good two to three hours of swimming and laughing and chikahan before we decided to go back to our room and rest. Daddy was still asleep when we got back. I’m positive that we didn’t need a holter monitoring at that time, peanutbutter♥ was just so tired.
We were a bit hungry, though and we needed a snack, so we ordered their Decadent Chocolate cake which, I think, costs around ₱200+. But it was super moist and chocolatey.
Included in our reservation is the Wine and Cheese Tasting at 5-6pm, which I thought peanutbutter♥ was gonna wake up for but since he was so tired, I just let him sleep on it.
THE WINE & CHEESE TASTING
The complimentary Wine and Cheese Tasting was held at Restaurant Verbena. And it was Ykaie who was my date during the cocktail hour.
I looove cheese, so I made sure I didn’t miss this. I’m not a big wine drinker but it was the time to drink, so I indulged a little.
peanutbutter♥ was up by dinner time and we went to the nearby Bag of Beans to have dinner. I was a bit buzzed from the wine a while ago so I really didn’t eat much.
We had fun during dinner time, though… and made a lot of faces! We had shocked, hungry, scary– you name it…
Our day ended back in our room…playing “Daddy-The-Ride” and drinking warm vanilla milk with oatmeal raisin cookies….
