I bought this Dora The Explorer travel kit to keep Ykaie from being bored when traveling. This travel kit is just a coloring/ activity pad and color pencils.
I bought this because sometimes I feel like Ykaie is relying too much on gadgets to be entertained. Gadgets like tablets or cellphones.
There are times when your simple good old coloring book is needed. It’s also a nice mother-and-daughter bonding activity because it let’s you make conversation with your daughter while coloring with her.
That would keep Ykaei supah busy,. I usually bring arts stuff when we travel.
Indeed a great way to get the kid busy while traveling. My kids loved Dora too!

I do agree with the good old coloring books and pencil. They can be very entertaining while traveling. I am in need of something different though, I traveling car seat tray so my kids can both have their trays while we are traveling so they can properly eat or color. We travel a lot and when we go back to our old place, that is a four-hour non-stop drive and they get restless after two hours and most of the time we don’t stop at all. Love that Dora travel coloring kit.
Another thing that could occupy kids’ time is small board game that you can bring Always works for my kids.

One of my girls favorite 🙂 And yep I always have coloring books and other activity books for the kids when traveling. It will make them occupied and forget the boredom for the time being.
going back to basics! i agree with you sometimes kids needs a simple coloring book to have fun.

i used to bring coloring books for the little one when i tag him along to the bank.. that was few years ago.. now he is grown up.. bilis ng panahon
This is perfect for Ykie to enjoy coloring and spend time with Mommy as well 🙂 This is a big help when my daughter traveled to the Philippines last year 🙂
