This is, yet again, one of those occasions that I wish Ykaie and I could celebrate with you. We could probably go out, have a picnic or have a nice intimate celebration somewhere and I could cook for you.
But since you are away, working and being such an amazing daddy, let me just remind you how much a great daddy you are.
Thank you for making it to Ykaie’s Graduation this year. She’s very proud that she got the First Honors in her class and she’s very happy when you’re the one who hung the medal on her neck.
Thank you for making sure we have family-only trips. Our staycations at the Discovery Country Suites in Tagaytay and at the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa are two of the best vacations of my life. Those are really nice places but it was the best vacation for us because we got to spend it with you. Ykaie and I had you all to ourselves for four days!
Thank you for relieving me of my driver duties for a month.You know how much I hate parking and I’d rather not drive if I know I’m gonna have a hard time parking ianne A.
Thank you for keeping Ykaie entertained with your stories and playing with her when I had something to do. It keeps Ykaie happy because this is one of the things that she misses about you. I know this is also one of the things that you miss and seeing you two with big smiles on your faces, laughing and talking, keeps my heart in bliss.
Thank you for being a good provider, pillar, handyman and a kiddie ride…
Ykaie and I will always feel blessed that we have YOU in our lives.

Aaaawww! Distance can be heartaches at times especially during celebrations and the other half is not around. I’m sure he feels the same way too.
