I saw this quote last month and it hit me right smack in the face. I’m trying to lose weight for the longest time and has been unsuccessful because the weight that I would lose after a month would just be gained the following month. It’s difficult to stay on a diet. I find it difficult because for one, I am a food blogger. I know it shouldn’t be an excuse. Aside from food blogging, I also became a couch potato.
It took me this quote to realize that, indeed, staying overweight is hard too because it puts you at risk to so many diseases and it’s difficult to keep up with a child. Everything is up to me…..so I chose my HARD. I bought work -out clothes to motivate me and started changing my lifestyle. I’m more into whole food now and I’m trying to blog more about healthy recipes than restaurant food.
I’m not perfect, though and still indulge in sweets, desserts and chips but I do it occasionally…. and I move my butt. I’m back to doing Hip Hop Abs every morning, everyday. I started last June 4 and I’m happy to say, I already lost 13lbs without feeling a bit deprived of all the yummy things I like eating.
It’s kind of like a win-win situation.

Keep it up Mommy while you are still young,. It is hard to lose weight when you reach a certain age like mine lol.

losing weight thru dieting alone doesn’t work at all. what works for me is, eat whatever you want in small portion, and work out, work out work out. set aside at least an hour a day, to walk off your weight, at least 10,000 steps a day. I am not super skinny, but I stay within 110-115 lbs which is fine with me.
Wow, congrats! I have the hard time losing my baby fats. And, I am doing my best to get rid off it.
