Tatay’s 73rd Birthday

Last November 2, we celebrated my tatay’s 73rd birthday. Since my parents doesn’t like going out, we had just a simple celebration at home.

Sis made this yellow salad-slash-juice and bought the ingredients for spaghetti.

I bought a bucket of KFC and cooked the Spaghetti. We also had the Chocolate Toffee Nut Loaf and White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies from Starbucks. My brother is supposed to buy a cake but he didn’t so we didn’t have a cake. It was alright though, we really didn’t need any more sweets because my parents and aunts were diabetic, anyway.

Here’s wacky shot of my tatay and his grandchildren: my daughter Ykaie and my nieces: Thea, Cyra and Cyvrine. Like always, they sang “Happy Birthday” to their lolo. That one I caught on video.

And since it was also my nanay and my tatay’s anniceversary, we greeted them their 49th. We also teased them about their “renewal of vows” next year. They just both laughed it off, with my mother saying that she’s divorcing him next year…—– What??!  LOL!
