We celebrated Ykaie’s 6th Birthday by going on a one-day staycation at the Estrellas de Mendoza resort in San Juan, Batangas. A few months before her birthday, I asked her if she wanted to have a birthday party and she said no. She told me that what she wanted was to go swimming.
Since Ykaie has this Minions shirt and accessories, we thought of wearing Yellow as our terno outfit for her birthday. Why yellow?, you may ask. Well, maybe because yellow reminds us so much of Summers and bright suns. Wearing it would make us feel as if we are enjoying Summer in the middle of November.
Everyone wore yellow and we looked like we are a dance troupe that is ready for out performance. I forgot to accesorize, though. I didn’t have any accessory except for the usual pair of earrings I was wearing. I have this cute sterling silver necklace but I forgot to wear it on that day.
I find it cute that my MIL and Ykaie were both wearing Minions Shirts…
