Ykaie wanted to go swimming for her 6th Birthday. Our theme that day was Yellow. Since the minions from Despicable Me 2 are one of the “in” things, We decided to dress Ykaie up in a Minions OOTD.
Instead of the small, themed parties we do yearly for Ykaie’s birthdays, Sis and I gave our minds a rest. I made a reservation for one night at Estrellas De Mendoza in San Juan, Batangas. (I’ll tell you all about it soon at The Wandering Peach).
She had a Minion Shirt, Minion Headband, Minion Bracelet, and Minion Bag. She even has a Minion wallet inside that bag.
We left home at around seven in the morning and arrived at Estrellas de Mendoza around lunch time. It was a five (5) hour drive. I was so tired but it was all worth it specially when I saw how happy Ykaie is when she saw the swimming pool.
Ykaie and her Lola Lucy (MIL) have matching tops. This is actually unplanned. I just told them to wear something yellow…
Ykaie also told me she wanted a small guitar for her birthday. She already got her Flying Fairy gift so I told her that if she really wants one, she would have to wait when she gets older. Guitar and guitar strings aren’t cheap. Specially if it’s a quality brand.
