When I got pregnnat with Ykaie,I didn’t have any stretch marks. Somebody told me that I should use cocoa butter and lotions with cocoa butter in order to prevent it. So I bought tubs of cocoa butter and applied it regularly in my tummy area. After my first trimester, I noticed that there aren’t any stretchmarks appearing.
The things is I wasn’t so fond of the cocoa butter then because it was too sticky and it feels hot in my skin. Remember how we were when we were pregnant? Yes, It was always so hot and the cocoa butter just makes it more uncomfortable, so I stopped using it.
Stretch marks didn’t appear up until my 9th month where they appeared one by one. I was disappointed in myself for not being able to stick to my cocoa butter regimen. I knew I could’ve prevented it from appearing.
Why do stretchmarks appear in the first place? Stretch marks appear because the skin becomes resilient and collagen production becomes slower as we age.
I’ve seen stretchmarks appear on teenagers but you can see them mostly on adults specially those who got pregnant. They are prevalent specially in the tummy area, where the skin stretches the most during pregnancy.

I read a lot of good reviews about Celeteque, mostly about getting rid of acne and pimple scars. Now, it’s about stretchmarks. This product must be really great! I wish they also have one that would remove keloids. It has been a problem of mine 🙁

I think you should try this. I use it in my tummy and it softens the skin with stretchmarks.

Celeteque has good products. This one is affordable unlike other creams and lotions for stretch marks.
I’ve also heard that while pregnant you should apply lotions like this but some also say that it is genetic. It’s nice to see women who already have babies and yet no stretch marks yay! Must be so blessed hihi

Haven’t tried this cream when I was pregnant. The only thing that applied that time was Palmer’s Cocoa Butter. I’ll definitely try this when I get pregnant again because stretch marks is I think irreversible.
