This is such an overdue post.
I don’t know anything about lipsticks because I don’t really use lipstick. I don’t know why but I find lipsticks intimidatingly. As much as possible I limit myself to lip balms and lip gloss that are either transparent or in nude colors.
I think it’s because of this that I am rarely given samples of lipsticks. I’m really thankful that Avon sent out these Colorlast Lipsticks for me to try.
Avon Colorlast Lipsticks are moisturizing long-wear lipsticks with Freshwear Complex that provides true color that lasts up to 8 hours and contain SPF 15 UVA/UVB. You can buy it from your Avon lady for ₱150 each.
I got seven shades which are:
- Sweet Strawberry
- Eternal Red
- Celebrity Red
- Endless Pink
- Always Burgundy
- Lucky Orange
- Burgundy Dream
The colors that I opened up are: Celebrity Red, Endless Pink, and Always Burgundy. I tried wearing Celebrity Redand I find the color vibrant. Yeah, I did but since I’m still trying to get used to the color, I only wore it inside the house…LOL! . It glides smoothly on my lips the way lip balms do and I could instantly feel its moisturizing effect.
I had to re-apply it a few times before I got the hang of it, though because I can’t seem to put it where my lips are! (Yeah, I’m dorky when it comes to lipsticks).
It was such an awesome experience wearing bright red lipstick inside the house and learning how to apply it at the age of 34…hahaha…
Thank you so much Avon! You took away my intimidation from lipsticks! I will try wearing lipsticks form time to time starting today.

great product review… many young ladies will find it helpful. i’ll share it to my friends who are overly obsessed with make ups and lipsticks … they just have a bunch of them and i can’t understand why they have a separate bag for those… [hahha]
I like Avon!! So glad that they have nice looking lipsticks..
Lipstick are nice when applied proper but wield when it’s over. I like red colours.
I think I need an expert, I just called my wife lol.. She said She would love to have one!
I love lipstick, and I used to buy Avon lippies all the time from our cleaning lady. The packaging is much cuter now than it was a few years ago. 🙂 Inggit!
The packaging comes in really girly colors so I’m sure the ladies would love to have this.
In all fairness to Avon, they’ve managed to remain competent. Good quality + affordability = what more can you ask for?

I have the celebrity red.. super pigmented.. hindi ko msaydong mgamit kc red na red cia… hehe.. eh mputi p nmn ako…nkkailang lang gmitin..haha
