“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” ― Marcel Proust
I began this month with a lot of gratitude and a promise to write a thankful post on a weekly basis. But with peanubutter♥ coming home and Ykaie going into the big school, there’s been a lot of adjustments here and there. I’ve been waking up in the wee hours of the morning, sleeping late, and doing everything I could squeeze in between.
But I would like to close this rainy month of June with gratitude from my heart….
♥ I’m thankful for everyday breakfasts and the people I’m now sharing them with at 5:30am on weekdays and 8am on weekends. I used to eat my breakfast alone and in front of the computer. Now, I’m happily sharing breakfast everyday with peanutbutter♥ and Ykaie just before she goes to school.
♥ I’m thankful I’m now able to appreciate weekends. Weekends are there so you can make-up for lost sleep and for family day.
♥ I’m thankful for showers of work. I’m still adjusting as to when I’d turn on my laptop but I’m getting there. The most important thing right now and the most I’m thankful for is that there’s income.
♥ I’m thankful that I was able to try these two new treats from Starbucks! The Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino and Strawberry Pistachio Cake. And guess where I was able to try it? At Starbucks Fairview Terraces– LOL! it’s my first time to go there..so.
It’s a rainy month of June but along with showers of water there’s also showers of blessings. I love waking up everyday — even with tired eyes — It’s a great life we’re all having!
