Things That Happened Over The Week

The past week had been an über busy one for me. There’s been a whole lot of changes lately, I still don’t know how I could keep up. Hence, the lack of updates of all my blogs.

I think I’ve managed to adjust a little bit, though, that I was able to take a few minutes of my time to update you on my Instagram and now, here in my blog.

Let me tell you what’s keeping me busy over the week…

First Day High

It’s Ykaie’s first week of school! She woke up at 4am on her first day because she was so excited. I woke up at 3:59am..hahaha, which I think tells that I’m more excited.

I’d say we got through the first week okay. We’ve managed to complete all the requirements and I think Ykaie is adjusting well in her new school.

She’s happy every morning but we are still adjusting with her school time which is 7am – 2:30pm. I’ve been waking up early too because I had to prepare her baon and take her to school.

Happy Independence Day!

peanutbutter‘s home!! Yaaaaayy!!! He arrived last June 12. The Philippine Independence Day is very symbolic for us because it’s his “independence day” too form being an OFW. He is here to stay!

We fetch him home from the airport and Ykaie was very happy to see her daddy. I think there’ll also be a lot of adjustments for us now that he’s home.

Happy Father’s Day

Today is Father’s Day. We celebrated in advance yesterday by watching a movie and eating out. Today, we had some family feet pampering (foot spa, pedicure), had dimsum at Causeway, and then went to church.

It’s very thoughtful of PLDT Home to send him this #SuperDad shirt as a Father’s Day present.

He loved it! Thanks PLDT Home!

I do hope to be well-adjusted by the end of the month, before welcoming another adjustment in moving into our new home.

  1. Thanks for sharing your activities over the week. My husband, son and I are also in the process of making adjustments since we move to our new home in Makati. We did a lot of adjustment during the first week of school. We have to wake up the same time in the morning to prepare also my son’s baon and things and I have to drive him to school where I also work in Alabang. Hopefully we’ll all get used to the new adjustment we are undergoing now since we don’t have any idea yet as to how long would be the usual travel time from our place to school/work, etc.
