This post is loooooong overdue. Well, I actually got hundreds of long overdue travel photos up in my hard drive begging for me to post them. The thing is, I was actually in transition since last year, trying to decide if I should let go (or not) of my travel blog ( The Wandering Peach). Well, I decided last January to let go and I am in the process of transferring them into this blog since it’s all about our family’s travel.
Up until now, I am still not finished transferring all of my travel post but hang in there. It should be done by te middle of this year.
Anyway, our family swimming to Emerald Villa in Pansol, Laguna happened because my Aunt Becky wanted to treat her grandchildren to a family swimming. My sister who calls herself Anney was the one in charge to look for an affordable private resort that can accommodate all of us. And she found this.
Our Rooms
The rate that was given to us last August 2014 was ₱9,000. The resort was all ours from 8am to 5pm! And that includes three rooms with 6 beds.
The rooms are quite big and the sheets were clean when we got there. The only problem I had with the rooms is that only the first room has a/c and that it’s filled with mosquitos.
Good thing I always bring mosquito patches with me wherever we go.
The resort also has a billiard table to keep young guests entertained. I don’t know how to play billiards.. tsk tsk.
Our Food
Since it was a private resort, we brought our own food. We had Dalandan Juice as our drinks served Sago-gulaman style..LOL! and Fruit Salad for dessert.
We had Squid Adobo, Shrimp, Chicken Teriyaki,.. and lots of chips…
We also grilled some pork belly, hotdogs, and fish..
peanutbutter♥, me and my niece, Babin.
I was around 6 weeks pregnant at the time. This is right before we found out about the Anembryonic Pregnancy.
The Pool
There are two swimming pools in the resort. One adult swimming pool, one kiddie pool, and one jacuzzi which you can rent for ₱500 per hour.
This is the jacuzzi. We had it running for two hours.
Underwater Shots
Ykaie and her cousins had some great underwater shots.
This is our epic fail family underwater shot..LOL! For the life of me, I couldn’t bring myself to open my eyes.
Swimming Time
We really had a great time at the resort. Nobody rested nor slept inside the rooms because of the mosquitos. Those who wanted to sleep, did in the first room where there’s a/c.
Ykaie and Cyra
Jump Shots!
Ykaie and her cousins loved jump shots in the pool!
It was really fun and we had a great time at the resort. I just wish they would fix the mosquitos in the room and put electric fans for the convenience of the guests.
Emerald Villa is located at Natalie St. Purok 5, Brgy. Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna

I hope the jacuzzi is included in 9k rate. It’s been years since we rented a private resort in Pansol.
Nope it’s not. The Jacuzzzi is for P500 per hour.
How fun! I loved looking at your photos. My favorite is the underwater shot of your family.
Thanks Elizabeth!
It’s so nice and happy! You really have a wonderful and happy family with all those kids. I like your version of the drinks. And the grilled dishes is a must for every trips like this.
Thanks Theresa!
I used to read Anney’s blog before I went into hiatus. How is she? Does she still blog? I hope I am remembering the same person.. hehe.. Anyway, looks like you had a great time especially the kids. That jump shot… Oh man! Cuteness overload!
No. she doesn’t blog anymore. Thanks Mayen!
Great vacation experience indeed! Awesome for the kids before they start the school year once again!
Thanks Ron!
You must have a lot of fun being on holiday with the whole family. The kids looked like they were having a blast.
Oh we enjoyed it!

Despite the mosquito problem, it looks like you and your family really enjoyed yourselves! Practically everything exudes fun, fun, fun! 🙂
Yeah, we didn’t stay na lang in the rooms.
I love the underwater photos and the food, omg, I am drooling. You are the food goddess na talaga (btw, i love the peach kitchen!)
Thanks Marie!
Nice place! You sure had a great time!
Yes we did, Kareen!
We also went to Pansol last year. My son enjoyed the hot spring a lot. I wished nga dun ulit kami this year but sa Bolinao naman kami. Ang layo, huhu.
maganda rin dun! I’m sure mag-eenjoy kayo.
The food are mouthwatering for sure! I wasn’t sure why I feel so hungry right now..hehehe It looks like a lot of fun for the whole family. I missed the family bonding tuloy with my family back home. Kakamiss
Uwi ka na soon, Melgie.
Nakakatuwa tingnan pictures nyo sis! Super enjoy! 🙂
Thanks January!
Looking at all your beautiful photos makes me missed my family back home! and of course all the Filipino food that is very hard to find here like squid and all grill fish and seafood. Sarap naman!:)
Bawi na lang when you go back here. Melgie!
I have great memories of swimming trips with friends and colleagues in Pansol. I love the private pools because you can have them all by yourselves!
Mosquitoes are extremely pesky! We bring along mosquito repellent all the time for the children.
Nice place. Last year we had our company outing in a private resort in Pansol too. There are lots of private pools in this area.
This year we are planning to have our super late summer outing in Bolinao on 2nd week of June.
ang sarap! I hope we can go to Bolinao next time.
The place looks nice overall, pero these days A/C is a must nga! hehe. I hope our extended family can still find a way to go to a private resort, we used to go somewhere every summer but a growing family and limited resources don’t always make it happen. I hope makahabol pa kami this year!
Kami rin nag-huling hirit pa last weeek!
