Happy Father’s Day, peanutbutter♥! (2015)

taken at Burnham Park, Baguio (4 months pregnant)

To my peanutbutter,

This month marks your one year anniversary of being home. I still remember last year, Ykaie was very excited to see you coming out of the airport and she couldn’t wait to spend time with you as much as she can. And now, we couldn’t wait to meet our second princess!

Today, I really thought we were gonna spend the day at the hospital with you being a daddy again to another princess in our lives. These two are very blessed for they have a daddy that’s so full of compassion, love, and strength.

I spend every minute of my life watching you with Ykaie and your love for her shows in every interaction you have with her whether you’re taking her to school, playing doll house with her, carrying her upside down, and even when you’re teasing her to the point of crying. I can see and feel how much you love her –us– more than you can show.

I couldn’t wait to see you with both Ykaie and Twinkle…

You are so much more than a daddy, you are an incredible husband and you’re everything I hoped for to help in raising a family. You make me happy.

I know how much effort you make everyday to bring up our family. You live and breathe this family. Every decision you make, every crease on your forehead when you think.. I know it’s for us and for our family’s future. And I know how much waking hours you spend thinking about it.

Knowing how much of a good man you are — loving, kind, responsible, and god-fearing — you make me want to have a son that will take after you. And I believe I’ve told you that a number of times. The world needs more of you, you know.

Thank you for being an amazing father — even to Ianne A. and JayR! Who you don’t want to admit you love very much!  (Gasp! Our family is growing and we couldn’t stop it!)

Thank you for the patience, support, and most of all the never-ending love. Ykaie, Twinkle, and I will always feel blessed that we have YOU in our lives. We love you so much!

Happy Father’s Day, peanutbutter!

  1. Great photos! I think of the saying, any man can be a Dad, but it takes a real man to be a Father, all good dads (and step-dads for that matter!) should be celebrated for all they do! Mine is in heaven and I so wish he was still here!

  2. What lovely photos. You have a beautiful family. Belated Happy Father’s Day to your husband.

  3. Awww! So sweet! It seems like you were able to celebrate a wonderful Father’s Day. That plate was huge but looked absolutely delicious 🙂 Happy Late Father’s Day!
