I can’t believe how fast time flies! It feels like just yesterday Twinkle was nervously walking into her first day of Grade 3, all tiny and excited with her oversized bag and sparkly hairclips. And now—just like that—she’s officially saying goodbye to Grade 3 and stepping confidently into Grade 4!
And she’s not just moving up… she’s doing it With Honors! 😭✨
Two weeks ago, we celebrated her Recognition Day, and what a proud moment it was for all of us. Even though Daddydoodledoo had just come off the night shift and was running on very little sleep (as usual), he made sure to be there, standing tall and smiling big, camera in hand, ready to cheer for our bunso. That alone already had me emotional—but when they called Twinkle’s name and she walked up the stage with that beaming smile, sporting her medal with so much pride… oh my heart. 💖

Honestly, we’re still riding the high of that moment. It’s these little milestones that remind us how quickly our kids grow, and how much they accomplish along the way—even when we’re not always looking. The homework struggles, the morning rush, the reminders to “focus” or “finish your reading” (you know how it is) suddenly all feel worth it. Our little girl has been working so hard, and it shows.
We’re just overflowing with happiness and pride. Twinkle has always had that quiet determination in her—she may be soft-spoken, but she knows what she wants, and she goes for it. Watching her shine like this, being recognized for all the effort she’s put in, is such a beautiful reward—not just for her, but for us as parents too.
So here’s to our Twinkle—our bunso, our achiever, our ray of sunshine. Grade 4, here she comes! Ready to learn, grow, and continue making us all so proud. 💫💕
Way to go, anak. You did it!
