I’ve noticed yoyo season is slowly making a comeback and those silly wheel-like toys are becoming the “in” thing once more. When I was in my tweens, I was quite an expert and did some of the easy yoyo exhibitions like walking-the-dog and rocking-the-cradle.
Ykaie on the other hand couldn’t wait to get her hands on those modern ones with blinking lights.
But instead of that, I’ll show her this photo of Chinese Yoyos called diabolos and I’ll encourage her to try this instead. It’s kind of like a yoyo but is balanced on the string suspended between the two sticks.
Pretty cool, huh?
