Celebrating FIL’s Birthday at Vikings

We celebrated my FIL’s birthday yesterday at the Vikings Luxury-Buffet Restaurant in SM The Block.

It was actually my first time to eat at this restaurant but I’ve already heard a lot of good reviews about it. I know my so-called “diet” had to take a pause as this is one of those eat-all-you-can restos that has good food.

August 1st was a thursday. Rates for weekday dinner are:

Kids below 3Ft – FREE
Kids between 3ft – 4ft – ₱388+
Kids between 4ft to 4ft 6in – ₱588+
Adults – P888+

Prices are inclusive of VAT but is subject to 5% service charge.

There are many birthdays celebrated here at Vikings because the celebrant gets to eat for free. All he/she had to do is bring an ID with his/her birthday in it.

Of course, Ykaie and Cyra wanted to eat sweets first. They immediately headed to the chocolate and white chocolate fountain but I told them to eat first before they can have dessert. Ykaie ate rice, Crispy Pata, a pizza slice, and a lot of servings of the Bulalo Soup while Cyra had rice, chicken,  and soimai.

This cake was put to our table as a “band” of their staff started going from table to table to table to sing each celebrant a Happy Birthday song.

They even have this Viking cap put on each celebrant as they sing and dance.

Dessert time!

I love all the food at Vikings and it’s worth every peso! It was indeed a Happy Birthday for my FIL too.
