I got into a fight last monday.
My niece accidentally plugged a 110v surplus tv into our 220v socket. Sis’s disposable tv died. She wanted to buy another tv from Japan surplus because it’s cheaper and she’s just using it for business so off we went. We purchased one and it was rechanneled by the staff there and told us we couldn’t watch all the cable channels but we could see all the local channels. That was fine with us.
When we turned the tv on at home, we couldn’t find Channel two, so we took it back and the staff made a little change in the programming. It was the same when we got home. Sis decided to just return the tv and get a refund. The staff won’t give her money back blabbering some incompetent reasonng as to why they coudn’t give her a refund.
That started the fight and the argument. I won, of course, there is no way they’re keeping our money for a tv that is not working. I advised sis to just buy a brand new one from the mall. After all, she could afford to add a couple more grand to her budget.
Now, she’s using a brand new led tv that doesn’t only have all the loacl channels but all the cable channels as well.
