peanutbutter♥‘s birthday was last July 2. It’s the first time in four years that he’s celebrating his birthday with us. I wanted to go someplace and celebrate it with a staycation but Ykaie has school. So I just cooked pancit (well, noodles for long life..hehehe) for him at home which we ate for lunch. Dinner was celebrated with my ILs at Vikings SM North EDSA.
We had a reservation so we were inside at 5:30pm. It was peanutbutter♥‘s first time eating at Vikings. He also loves buffets so I’m sure he loved it there. We were actually done eating at around 7:30pm when they gave his birthday cake.

Buddha Beads
peanutbutter♥ wanted Jade Buddha Beads bracelet. So we went to Ongpin the day before his birthday, his Jade Buddha Beads bracelet is my birthday gift to him.
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF JADE?
Jade carries a sweet, light and nourishing energy that can feel very healing. It has a soothing purity about it, and it goes about purifying your energy field in a very accepting, loving, wise kind of way.
So, one obvious meaning of the jade stone is purity and purification. Another meaning of jade is gentleness and nourishment, because jade is a stone that protects and supports loving heart energy.
Jade is also popular in body feng shui as it is known to be good for health.
We were thinking of buying a set of Jade beads but we saw this bracelet: a combination of Jade, Tiger’s Eye, Amethyst, and Garnet.
Tiger’s Eye is both grounding and uplifting. It promotes a positive attitude, laughter and humour, and it is said to attract prosperity, wealth and success.
Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone. It is for Spiritual Upliftment, and increasing richness. One may use Amethyst when one may need to communicate effectively. Associated with the stomach/liver. Inner alignment. This seems to balance the inner bodies (emotional, spiritual, etc.) as well as provide more energy. Clear energy blockages.Amethyst is also beneficial when dealing with money issues, which can lead to prosperity.
Garnet creates harmony. Its energy first purifies, then energizes, instilling either intensity or calm, which ever action is necessary for balance.
I personally believe in Feng Shui, so the stones in this bracelet is just the perfect combination for my peanutbutter♥. It was very zen.
I hope he loved my birthday present. We’ll do a bigger birthday celebration next year.
