1st Day
Ykaie and I are avid fans of McDonald’s. She loves Chicken McNuggets and I am loyal to my number one favorite since I was 12 — the Big Mac. When I was still single and younger, and I drop by McDonalds for a quick meal during the Summer, I often see kids greet me at the door and help assemble my order. I find it too cute and at that time, I made a mental note to enroll my would-be child at the time to this program.
Fast forward to 2013, I enrolled 5 year old Ykaie to the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop and she loved every single day. She wanted to do it again last year (2014) but I wasn’t able to enroll her. I guess it was because she took swimming lessons and I was a bit busy with our house construction.
This year, though I made sure she does it again, specially since they put up a McDonald’s near our home. What made it more fun for her is because she did it with one of her closest cousin — her ate Chellie.
On her first day, they were toured inside the kitchen premises and was given a chance to experience the different stations inside the counter.
And because we loved them, we ordered from them when they were incharge of the counter. Even my Tita Becky and cousins Cyra and Cyvrine was there…
Ykaie’s first customer was daddy, of course! He wasn’t here in 2013 because he was still in Dubai so this was the first time he saw Ykaie as a Kiddie Crew.
3rd Day
I wasn’t able to make it on the second day because I had to run some errands but on the third day, I was back to take more photos. This is when they practiced dancing “Do The Ronald”.
After the dance practice, they all wore their chef’s hat and apron — this was the day when they made their own cheeseburger.
With her McDonald’s Kiddie Crew classmates.
My camera caught Ykaie delivering orders to a waiting customer….
Here she is at the counter once again.
5th Day (Graduation)
Yay! 5th day is Graduation Day!
The whole gang did a presentation — they all danced “Do The Ronald”. After that, they each explained what their artwork on the reusable Happy Meal box meant.
Then just like a normal graduation, they marched to the front and got their badge and certificates!
I know Ykaie learned a lot from her one week experience at the Mcdonald’s Kiddie Crew 2015. It was Chellie’s first time at being a kiddie crew and I know she enjoyed it as well.

She must really have fun. She’s all smiles! It’s nice to start them young, so they grow up more responsible.
Yes, she had fun.
I’m a filet ‘o fish girl, myself, though I’m trying to cut down burgers and opt for salads. Your daughter is adorable.
Thanks Carol.
Oh how PRECIOUS! I didn’t know they did that for the kids! That is adorable, I love how excited they were to dance and graduate! Awesome experience!
Yeah, and they learned a lot in week.
I had no idea that they had that program!! Get for the kiddos to learn some responsibility!!
Yeah! That’s why I make sure I register my daughter for the program.
So what would you say are the top five things she learned from being a part of this program?
Looks like they had a blast. Cute!
That is an interesting program for the kids. I don’t know if they have that here in the states.
As a kid, this will enable her to be confident on doing things. Good thing she was busy doing best activities like this. ๐
How sweet? I think this is an amazing program for the kids, they had fun really ๐
I was a manger at Mac before, they are really cool.
This is so cute!! I am so upset they don’t seem to offer this here in the States. My Kiddies would be head over heals to be able to do this. Congrats to Ykaie!!
Oh my goodness, look at those smiles! What a great and wonderful experience to be a part of, for sure! – Jerusha, TheDisneyChef.com
Fun times! I did this kiddie crew thing too when I was a kid. I think it was one of the coolest stuff I did when I was a little that I even bragged about in class.
My little cousin was also a part of the Kiddie Crew 2015 in our province (Bauan, Batangas). She really enjoyed the activities they had there. She learned also some things which she was applying at home – things like politeness in asking what someone wants or in the way she handed things.
She’s too adorable! It really shows that she had so much fun and this activity is so much fun for kids. My nieces joined this too months ago and they can’t stop talking about their experience ha-ha ๐
Being a kiddie crew would really help in teaching them to be responsible plus they get to earn at an early age.
This is a really fun experience for the kids. My daughters were able to try it a few years ago and they loved it too!
GoodJob Kid! Goodjob McDo for having this kind of program.
Your Ykaie looks like my step cousin so much. It’s great that she had the experience to be a crew.
I’m more of Jollibee than mcdonalds but now I’m loving their fillet because it’s spicy. I’m not very fond of their burgers but come to think of it, I haven’t tried their burgers yet unless the plain one. This is wonderful, I hope we have this here too.. My little sister will love this experience.
