Ykaie had been seeing these Cra-Z-Sand toys being shown during commercial breaks on Cartoon Network and the Disney Channel. She had been asking me to buy her one because she’s amazed at what it can do.
Ykaie had been a Play-Doh fan ever since. She likes molding and playing with clays of different colors. Cra-Z-Sand is almost like clay in the sense that you can also mold it into different shapes and sizes. But it also like sand because you can let it run through your fingers like regular sand. Unlike clay, Cra-Z-Sand never dries out so you can play with it for as long as you like. For Ykaie, that means forever because she really takes care of her toys and keeps it well.
My SIL bought Ykaie a set of Cra-Z-Sand Mold ‘N Play Sweet Treats a couple of weeks ago. It contains sand in three different colors: blue, pink, and purple. Since it’s a sweet treats set, it contains a donut molder, a plastic cupcake holder, and a plastic ice cream cone. It also has a scooper which with a knife at the other end.
She plays with it with her cousins and her playmates in the neighborhood. She even plays it with me, I place my order for ice cream and cupcakes and she makes me one. I pretend to eat them and then pay for my order.
The playset costs around ₱800++. You cannot buy extra molds but you can buy extra sand for around ₱300++

That sure looks like a fun play set. My little guy loves thugs like this, so I’m sure he’d have a ball with this set.
That looks like something my grandkids would love.
I think every kid will love this.
Looks like something my daughter would enjoy. The messier the better in her eyes.
LOL! Don’t they all love messy?
This looks like a neat product. My kids might actually try to eat it though. lol
LOL!
My boys will have fun playing with Cra-Z-Sand Mold, but looks kinda messy… I don’t think something like this would last long with my boys tough playing.
I think they will love this…
Thanks for the article Mommy. This is what my little one is looking for.
My daughter loves this toy.
I saw this at Toys ‘R Us a while ago, it is a good fine motor activity for kids.
I think so too!
My little girl wants to own a set too but we are reserving it for her birthday gift on August. Can’t wait to play it with her.
I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun!
My daughter will definitely love this! Great for pretend play.
yes it is…
Sounds like a nice alternative to play doh as ours keep drying up! We’ll try this next time though when the kids are a little older as I can just imagine our place with all the colored sand everywhere.
It is so much better than Play-Doh.
This is very cool. I could put this in our sand table and keep the kids busy!
yes, you could. I’m sure the will have oodles of fun!
My youngest son would love this but I imagine it would be very messy!
heehee, it would be
I think I saw something like this in Toy Kingdom. This could be a good alternative to play dough. My concern though is the mess part :))
I think the messier it is, the more fun they’re having.

Ren had the same toy when he was I think 4 years old. It’s a nice fine motor activity for kids.
