Welcome to Estrellas de Mendoza
This is where we celebrated Ykaie’s 6th Birthday. Instead of our usual themed parties, Ykaie told me that she wanted to go swimming. Sis and I chose Estrellas de Mendoza because it is one of the resorts in our must-go-to list, so I made a reservation for a Cabana.
We left Caloocan at around 7am. I was the driver and my passengers were Sis, Rome, my nephew Kakay, and my MIL and FIL. I had no idea I will be driving for five (5) hours! W-ell, we got lost and detoured along the way but it was only for a short while. We arrived at Estrellas de Mendoza at around 12pm.
Check in time was 2pm but we were allowed to check-in as soon as we arrived. The resort/hotel lobby was really nice and since it’s November, they already have a big Christmas Tree at the center and many Christmas decors around.
Our Cabana
This is our Cabana. I made sure I made a reservation for a Cabana instead of the usual rooms located at the the resort building because I don’t want us to be separated. The Cabana is like a small house. Nope, we didn’t occupy the second floor, it’s another Cabana. We only had the first floor.
The rate when I booked it is around ₱17,000 per night and is supposedly for 7 adults and two children including breakfast.
The Cabana is pretty big, if you ask me. This is the receiving/living area. It has a tv hanging on the wall. There is Wifi in the lobby and the pool area which I found out I could still connect to in here.
This is the kitchen. It has a fridge and microwave which I think doubles as the Coffee and Tea making facility since we couldn’t find any electric kettle around. I think you can bring food you can put in the fridge and then reheat later if you’re gonna be staying in the Cabana.
Notice we are all in yellow? Yup,Ykaie is wearing a Minions OOTD ….
while everyone matches her in Yellow-colored tops.
The Cabana has two air-conditioned rooms. Each with a single bed and a double bed. My MIL, FIL, and Ykaie got one of the rooms…
While Sis, Rome, Kakay, and I shared the other. Ykaie woke up and transferred to our room in the in the middle of the night. I guess she’s not used to sleeping without me by her side.
There are two bathrooms/toilets as well. Each one with three tootbrushes, one small bottle of shampoo, and a piece of soap. Towels are fluffy too. There are white towels for the bathroom and colored ones you can bring at the swimming pool.
This is the microwave and the instant coffees and teas. We just used the cups in heating our water in the microwave when we had coffees in the afternoons….
Next post will be all about their swimming pools and the fun we had swimming!
