Summer ended a bit late for us this year. We still had a “Huling Hirit sa Tag-Init” the first week of June, right before classes started. It was my 9th month with Periwinkle, thanks to my sweet OB for allowing me to travel.
This was not our first time at Club Punta Fuego, we’ve been here in 2012 with sis and Rome (Posts here: Terrazas de Punta Fuego | Club Punta Fuego Part 1| Part 2| Part 3). We had fun and we loved the place. So my sister (who calls herself Anney) thought it would just be the perfect birthday treat if she can spend an advance birthday celebration here.
Our Rooms
Sis got us two connecting Casita rooms. Each room has two double bed that’s big enough for four adults. According to her, she got this for β±14,000.
Instead of welcome fruit plate, there are two large chocolate chip cookies on the table to welcome us.
Coffee making facility, mini-bar, cabinets — this is where everything is.
I don’t know who Ykaie is calling at this time. We just got in our room and the kids are “exploring” what they can explore inside.
The bathroom’s the same, so spacious and so open. The small scary statue wasn’t there anymore, though. It was replaced with a terracota jar. I bet they got a lot of complaints about it scaring guests that’s why they replaced it.
Toiletries are the same…
Β The Beach
We arrived a bit early for our room, so our first stop after a brief orientation from the lobby is: the beach!
Club Punta Fuego’s beach is quite beautiful but they don’t have seats and tables there for the guests. It’s as bare as the beach in Potipot.
Good thing the kids only want to play in the sand, sis and Rome wanted to take photos and do a bit of dancing for the video..
and of course, peanutbutterβ₯ and I sat on our blanket and ate siniguelas and lanzones we bought on the way. Look at how pregnant I am at this time. I don’t know how I managed to sit down on the sand.
The Swimming Pools
Ykaie, Cyra, and Cyvrine were all very excited to go swimming at the double infinity pool. But first things first, they have to pose for Sis….
Ykaie and daddy enjoying the pool….
