Cintai Corito’s Garden in Balete, Batangas {Part 1 ~ Our Room}

Cintai (pronounced “Chin-tai”) is Indonesian for the word LOVE.

Love for beautiful places, family bondings and swimming and the Balinese-inspired surroundings are what brought us to give this sanctuary a try last April.

Let me start by telling you all about the room that we got which is the Garden Villa. Normally, this is priced at ₱16,500 and has a capacity of 6 adults. It has two regular queen beds and one poster bed in the middle. We got this at deal grocer for only ₱10,000  courtesy of my cousin Rome who was celebrating his birthday the following month.

The poster bed would’ve been ideal for couples because it looks so romantic but romance dies if there are four more adults and three cute but naughty kids staying with you in the room. So it was okay that peanutbutter and I didn’t get the poster bed. This was left all to Ykaie and sis…

Of course, you already know the three naughty kids that I’m talking about {even if I don’t put a big wholesale yard sign} ~ my daughter Ykaie and nieces Cyra and Cyvrine.

The room also features a day bed big enough and relaxing enough for one of the adults to sleep into. This is where Rome chose to sleep.

The room has a small fridge and a coffee and tea facility too.

I love how big the bathroom is and how pretty! It opens up into this two wash basins and mirrors. The left side is the shower area with rainwater showerhead…

….while onto the right side are the toilet, cabinets and fresh towels….

And outside is a small terrace with a coffee table and sofa.

This is where we spent a part of the night, having conversation while sipping coffee and drinking beer. After all, I think this place is designed for honeymooners… there’s no wifi and tv in the room.

  1. It looks like a wonderful place. Will check their site if they have smaller rooms. Then, I’ll wait for a deal also. 🙂

  2. Beautiful! I would love to explore more places in Pinas someday when we get back for a vacation. I have never explored Pinas that much. The place is beautiful and it is nice to see photos of you and your husband so happy. So lovely!
