When you are with a child, specially one that you really adore, it’s impossible to pass by an amusement park and not allow her to go in even if it’s at noon and it’s so hot out. So we dropped by the Sky Fun Amusement Park inside the not-quite-finished Sky Ranch.
The Entrance Fee is ₱100 but at that time it’s on a 50% discount promotion and all three of us were only charged ₱150.
But that was just the entrance fee, you have to buy tickets individually for each ride as they still don’t have a ride-all-you-can ticket unlike in other amusement parks.
The first thing that caught our eyes is the Sky Eye or Tagaytay Eye. Currently, the Tagaytay Eye is tallest Ferris Wheel in the country measuring 63 meters or 207 ft. It has 32 gondolas, beating the MOA Eye which measures 55 meters or 180 ft with 36 gondolas.
The ride at the Tagaytay Eye is ₱150 per person. Yup, that’s really expensive considering a ride is just one loop around, which lasts for 10 minutes. but it was just right for my peanutbutter♥ who hates heights.
Didi you notice the Taal Volcano in the background? At this point, he couldn’t wait for the ride to be done. I was sure he will be needing his premium cigars after this ride… good thing he didn’t.
There are many rides inside the Sky Fun but we didn’t really try it all because it was the middle of the day and the sun was blazing hot.
The next ride they took was the Nessi Coaster {₱50 per person} which is like the caterpillar ride, one that Ykaie really enjoys because of the rush.
The Mini-Viking Ship {₱50 per person} is for children. There’s also a Big Viking Ship for adult which we weren’t able to try because no one would look after Ykaie if peanutbutter♥ and I both go in there.
We were thinking that this was the last ride that Ykaie would wanna go to before we go back to our hotel BUT…
she wanted to ride the Nessi Coaster one last time… and this time it was with me.

What a beautiful day for a carnival getaway! A lot of people used to go to a carnival during the night but they didn’t know carnival looks amazing and very colorful too during the day!
Kaya pala chinita si Ykaei, parehas kayo ni hubs mo na singkit.. Beautiful combination of genes.
this looks fun! i will definitely try this when i go to tagaytay
I am sure that you had so much fun in your carnival getaway. A family bonding specially with your hubby. I am not fond of rides because I am afraid of heights.
Oh wow looks like a really fun place! I want to bring Sean here next time we are in Manila.
I never been to Tagaytay but hoping someday, I can go and explore the place as well and maybe visit this amusement park too.

wow. that looks like a fun place to go!
Looks like a very big amusement park!
Oh, what a fun place to be with the family. I enjoyed all of your photos. The Tagaytay Eye reminds me of the London Eye too. I have had it with Ferris Wheels and I am done riding. And roller coasters too. I have had my share and three roller coaster rides are enough for me. LOL! 🙂 I would just ride the kiddie rides then with my kids. I am so chicken!
ooh, i wish we can get a chance to visit Tagaytay with the kids, they will surely enjoy that rides but 150 is really expensive for one ride,
Same as the London Eye, will visit Tagaytay eye when will have the time. This is really a must!
