What We Did During Our Stay at the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa {Part 4}

You really won’t get bored inside the Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa because aside from what I’ve already told you on my last posts, there are also facilities there for sports and recreation. I think we tried almost everything besides the sea sports.

Near the children’s pool area is a recreation facility where you can try boxing. There are punching bags and boxing gloves available.

We also played some billiards… something I’m really bad at.

Ykaie did some Hulahoop-ing….

We also played some Table Tennis.

And when we got bored, we borrowed some raquet and played badminton outside…

Everything in that recreation facility is for free except for Golf. There’s a six-hole golf park that is open from morning until 6pm but since we don’t really know how to play golf,  we tried the themed Mini-golf park.

Themed Mini- Golf Park

The themed Mini-Golf Park costs ₱300 for adults and ₱150 for kids. There are 14 holes combined with some lessons in geography as each hole is a representation of  well-known landmarks in the Philippines and other countries.

I’m really not good in sports. I had a hard time getting that ball into that small hole!

It was Ykaie’s first time to play mini-golf and she enjoyed her eperience up to the 14th hole!

It’s hard to make the ball come up to Mount Mayon! The hole is in the mouth of the miniature volcano…

Ykaie’s last home is through Rizal’s Miniature monument….

I really hope we can find the time and the budget to come back here at the Shang! I love the facilities, the service and all the things you can do in this place.
