Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S Unboxing And Review

One of our family highlights last year, technology-wise is peanutbutter switching to the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser. Its high end features and affordability created quite a buzz and became one of the most sought-after and recommended smartphone of 2015. This year, ASUS launched an upgrade to last year’s Zenfone 2 Laser, with a slightly different name: Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S.

The S at the end of its name is bringing us a promise of a Superior, Stunning, Sweeter, Seamless, and a Smarter smartphone.

Thanks so much to our friends from ASUS for sending us a review unit of this device. I am not a techie mom but I love tinkering on different gadgets. So, I’m going to give this my best shot and share with you my experience.

Let’s start the unboxing, shall we?

If you will notice, there really isn’t a change in the packaging of the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S. It’s just the same as last year’s but the back of the box lists the phone’s key specs:

  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB storage
  • MSM8939 (1.5GHz)

The contents of the box includes:

  • Your Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S
  • phone charger
  • charging cable
  • headphones
  • manuals

I got it in gold. Even though the back cover is made of plastic, it looks sleek and premium with the brushed metallic-design.
